 Abstract: Performance of the SIA-I algorithm, already succesfully tested in the ISMIP-HOM benchmark experiment, is further examined using the field data from Dronning Maud Land, Antarctica. We compare computational effectiveness and accuracy of the SIA-I algorithm with both a second-order model and a full Stokes (FEM) solution.
