Abstract: The main purpose of the gPhoneX stationary tidal gravimeter installed at the Astrogeodynamic Observatory of the Space Research Centre PAS (CBK PAN) is to continuously record the local changes in the gravity field. In addition to measuring gravity changes, the device also records a variety of instrumental parameters to monitor its performance. Changes in acceleration are the result of such effects as ocean tides, the impact of the Sun and the Moon, changes in groundwater masses. The raw gravity data is transferred in near real time to the Institute of Geodesy and Cartography (IGiK). After preliminary elaboration the gravity data are placed in the gravimetric data repository created at the Center for Research Infrastructure of Gravimetric Observations (CIBOG) as part of the project EPOS-PL (predecessor of EPOS-PL+). Scale factor for the gPhoneX gravimeter was determined via joint ~100 day record with a set of two LaCoste&Romberg (LCR) model G gravimeters (owned by IGiK) with LRFB-300 feedback. Visible was non-linear LCR drift vs stable ~+7 nm/s2/day gPhoneX#171 drift. Both LCR gravimeters were beforehand calibrated on a calibration baseline (verified with a A10-020 absolute gravimeter) g[nm/s2]. One of the notable events recorded by the gPhone X gravimeter was an earthquake in Turkey, indicating that the gravimeter is sensitive enough to function as a seismometer as well.
