 Abstract: The geodetic networks have been established in Saudi since 2011 started by building a national vertical network and tide gauges network. it contains about 4000 BMs and 12 tide gauges stations that comply with the NGS standards for second-order class I. Afterwards, the national gravity network has been established. It consists of 41 absolute gravity stations with an accuracy better than 10 μGal and the relative precise gravity observations with an accuracy of 20 μGal calculated for all BMs. Thereafter, GEOSA has built a nationwide active GNSS reference network (KSA-CORS), consisting of a set of GNSS Continuously Operating Reference Stations. Currently, this network has 209 CORS stations that provide real-time kinematic solutions to enable cm-level accuracy. After all, the Saudi Arabian Spatial Reference System (SANSRS) has been established and calculated based on data from different national geodetic networks. This system has three main components: 1) The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Geodetic Reference Frame (KSA-GRF), which was calculated based on 333 CORS stations data following IGS standards, 2) The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Vertical Reference Frame (KSA-VRF), which is based on a combined network adjustment of all available GEOSA precise levelling, gravity and tide gauge/altimetry data and, 3) The Geoid model of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA-Geoid) has been computed using a combination of all available surface, airborne, satellite gravity data and GNSS/Levelling data available at GEOSA and other KSA institutions. It covers the entire territory of the country with an average accuracy of around 2 cm.
