Zusammenfassung: OceanBRIDGES is now a Task Team within the Early Career Ocean Professionals programme, Bridging (Ocean) Research, Innovation and Diversity across Generations of Experts and Stakeholders. With the many different facets of inclusion and diversity, our overarching focus is on inter-generational diversity and dialogue. There is great value in connecting early career and experienced (mid to late career) ocean professionals to share knowledge, networks and best practices. OceanBRIDGES is therefore a two-way expertise-sharing platform with the aims to provide ECOPs with the support they need to accelerate their career progressions and for experienced ocean professionals to interact with eager and fresh-minded future (and/or present) ocean leaders. The main platforms we have used for intergenerational knowledge and dialogue exchanges are conferences and events (both co-organising and presenting). In the future we have plans to start webinars and create guides on how to successfully implement cross-generational exchanges during events. We also always welcome new members identifying themselves as being at any career stage that wish to connect with professionals at other career stages and invite you all to visit our page for more information: https://www.ecopdecade.org/ocean-bridges/.Co-authors: Audrey Hasson (GEOBlue Planet), Delphine Lobelle (Fugro), Christine Knauss (University of Maryland Center for Environmental Science) and Sigi Gruber together with the OceanBRIDGES team.
