Zusammenfassung
InnovaRig is a novel drill rig design with a wealth of innovative features for scientific drilling as well as industrial applications at highest standards of modern drilling technology. With its modular and containerized design it offers minimum turn-around time at reduced transportation logistics and a small environmental footprint, ideal for drilling locations in densely populated areas. Innovations have further been made in the areas of noise protection, energy saving and rig automation which reduces manpower as well as operational cost to a minimum. InnovaRig has already completed seven geothermal projects in sedimentary rocks in Germany and is currently planned to be mobilized to its first geothermal research drilling project in 5 km deep crystalline rocks.
