 Abstract: NASA'S Earth Applied Sciences Disaster Program advances the field of disaster science and builds tools to help communities with disaster planning. The program also works with governments and response teams to support disaster response efforts with Earth observing data and expertise. The program's core elements, (a) disaster applications, (b) disaster response coordination system, and (c) disaster open access portal, combined with NASA's advanced Artificial intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) technologies, create a powerful mechanism to tackle disasters.In this talk, we will summarize the Disasters Program activities and show examples of NASA's AI/ML technologies related to wildfires, floods, and other disasters.
