Abstract
Periodic oscillations were observed on September 16, 2015, from 16:00 - 20:00 UT using detrended Total Electron Content (dTEC) over the Southest-South of Brazil. After wavelet analysis, it was observed that these periodic oscillations presented, in the spectrum, 2-4 min and 6-16 min periods. Simultaneously, a tropospheric convective thunderstorm activity was occurring in southern Brazil. Hence, these oscillations could be associated with a signature of acoustic gravity waves and gravity waves generated by the tropospheric convective storm.
